What's in a Name?

 
  • No, we're not from South Dakota.

    While appointment viewing may seem passe in the on-demand age, it remains uniquely significant in a world filled with never-ending messages. It fosters a sense of shared experience and brings people together at a designated time to collectively enjoy an occurrence.

    Our founder's earliest and fondest memory of appointment viewing was when larger-than-life gladiators settled their differences in the squared circle on Saturday nights at 6:05.

    Also, his birthday is June 5 (6-05).

    We're also pretty big music fans, and Lab is a subtle nod to Adam Yauch, founder of Oscilloscope Laboratories, better known as MCA of the Beastie Boys.

A highly motivated strategic thinker and innovator, Sammy evaluates, analyzes, and implements results-driven tactics to help everyone, from major companies and industry leaders to small businesses and emerging brands, achieve their core business objectives.

With a focus on public relations, social media, digital marketing, event management, and content development, Sammy has worked with many household names, including Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Wild Turkey, NASCAR, NBC, FOX Sports, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Sugarlands Distilling Company, Monster Energy, Spotify, Monster Jam, Wahlburgers, and more.

Sammy has a B.A. from Virginia Tech and resides in Charlotte, N.C., with his wife Chelcee and pets Charles and Chi.
